Improved Memory Selection Prompt

The system prompt for selecting relevant memories has been rewritten to be more selective and discerning.

Details
  • Old prompt: "Return the filenames of the most relevant memories (up to 5). Only include memories that are clearly relevant to the query."
  • New prompt: "Return a list of filenames for the memories that will clearly be useful to Claude Code as it processes the user's query (up to 5)... Be selective and discerning. If there are no memories in the list that would clearly be useful, feel free to return an empty list."
  • The new prompt also includes the instruction to describe memories with specific one-line descriptions to aid future retrieval
