What
Claude Code can now build its messages about switching models from the state of your organization's usage credits:
- Credits turned off: the message says usage credits aren't on for your organization yet, and to ask your admin to turn them on and then run
/model.
- Credits blocked: the message says they are capped or used up.
- Otherwise: the message tells you to run
/model to switch.
Why
If you reach a limit on a model, you get specific guidance about credits instead of a general message.
