What
Claude Code measures how wide text will be on screen so that it can lay out what it shows. That measurement now skips two kinds of hidden marks: the marks the kitty terminal uses for inline images, and the placeholder marks iTerm uses for them.
Why
This may stop screens that contain inline images from being drawn garbled in those terminals.
