What

When a running task is stopped, Claude Code sends Claude a note about it. That note used to say the task was stopped by the user. It now says the task was stopped by the user or by the app connected to this session, and it names the file holding the task's output.

Claude also now gets a notice when files you uploaded may be missing.

Why

Claude gets clearer information about why a task ended and where to find what it produced.
