What
Plugins are add-ons that give Claude Code extra commands and abilities. After you publish one, the message Claude Code shows has changed. It used to tell you that colleagues install it with /plugin install. It now gives you a link to send them, and says they can add your organization's library under /plugin → Marketplaces and then run /plugin install.
Why
The steps you pass on to colleagues are different, and they now include adding the library first.
