A subagent is a helper that Claude Code starts to work on part of a task. Claude Code uploads each subagent's transcript, the record of what it did. That upload can now be stopped partway through when the work is cancelled. It also has a limit on how many rows it sends at once. When an upload is cancelled or goes over that limit, Claude Code now records the unsent rows as still owed instead of treating it as a plain failure.
Cancelling work no longer leaves a transcript upload running, and the rows that did not go through are tracked rather than dropped.
