What
The sandbox limits what commands Claude runs can reach on your machine. When it is turned off during a session, Claude now receives a message saying the command sandbox has been disabled, commands now run without sandbox restrictions, and the earlier sandbox instructions no longer apply.
Why
Claude stops following sandbox instructions that are no longer true once sandboxing is off.
