Unclear It is not known what the instruction now says in place of the fixed "run /exit" wording, or whether it differs between clients.
In a cloud session (one where the work runs on a remote machine) that was started with your Console sign-in, Claude Code shows a notice beginning "Signing in isn't available here: this cloud session was started with your Console sign-in". It then tells you how to renew that sign-in.
That renewal step used to be fixed text: "To renew the Console sign-in, run /exit, then attach to the session again." The part that tells you to run /exit is now generated when the notice is shown, so its wording may differ from before. The rest of the notice is unchanged.
The change is to how the wording is put together. In practice, follow the instruction the notice actually shows, which may not match the old fixed text word for word.
