What

When Claude Code shows you a prompt and the wait for an answer runs out, it now checks two times against the moment the prompt appeared: when you last answered a prompt, and when you last wrote anything. The prompt is marked unanswered only if neither happened after it was shown.

The record of an unanswered prompt now holds only the time, where it used to also note which turn it belonged to.

Why

This changes when a session is treated as waiting on you. If you typed something after a prompt appeared, the session is no longer counted as stuck waiting just because you did not answer that particular prompt.
