What
A plugin's manifest is the file that describes the plugin to Claude Code. When Claude Code refuses to read a manifest because of where it sits, the message used to start "Invalid manifest at". It now says "Plugin not loaded: its manifest" was not read, followed by why.
Why
The message now says the plugin did not load and why, rather than suggesting the manifest itself is broken.
