Unclear It is not clear which of these changes are behind the server switch.
Several small changes:
- Memory extraction, where Claude Code saves useful facts for later, now takes billing into account and skips some runs because of it.
- Tools from MCP servers (outside programs that add tools) can be marked as taking a file reference, with extra handling of their input.
- A tool helper that was refused on Windows is now allowed there, and is stopped by ending its whole group of processes.
- MCP server details now handle servers that connect over WebSocket.
Part of this sits behind a server switch that is off unless it is switched on remotely.
These are small behaviour shifts with no single visible effect.
