What

The connection Claude Code sets up for a served channel gets a new way to step away before a restart. A served channel is a link through which tools are served remotely. It closes the channel but keeps a later cleanup step, then notes that a relaunch comes next. Previously the only option was to close it. Nothing in Claude Code uses this yet.

Why

This prepares for handing remote-served tools over across a restart. It does not change anything you can do today.
