What

The "Resume this conversation?" prompt offers to continue an earlier conversation. It has changed in these ways:

  • In one mode, the Esc key is now described as "dismiss" instead of always "resume".
  • "Start a new conversation" can now have a description under it.
  • The prompt is not shown while a rate limit, a temporary cap on usage, is active.

The prompt also now checks a setting called allow_previous_conversation_pointer.

Why

This changes how the resume prompt looks and when it appears.
