What
When you hit a usage limit, Claude Code may offer a usage grant (extra allowance) or a prompt to reset one. The checks that decide this have changed.
Offering a grant. The check no longer requires nextGrantId to be set. It now looks for any grant that is usableNow and not paused, matching the type of limit you hit.
Reset-grant offer. A second check no longer requires nextGrantId to be empty. It now stops if any grant has resetsLeft above 0 or is usableNow.
Logged detail. A recorded event about this now includes a kind field.
Why
This changes which grants you are offered, and when you see a reset-grant prompt, after reaching a limit. A grant you can already use now counts even if it is not the one marked as next.
