What
When you log out, Claude Code clears information it had saved about your account. Before, the logout step named each item to clear itself, such as your signed-in account details, cached model access and cached client data. It now calls one shared routine that does the clearing.
Why
Logging out works the same way from your side. The list of what gets cleared is now kept in one place instead of being written into the logout step.
