Unclear Which sessions meet the condition that switches these two things off is not known.

What

Claude Code has gained a check that stops two things from happening when a certain session condition holds:

  • Finding PowerShell, the Windows command shell: Claude Code returns no result instead of looking for it.
  • Signing in with an identity token: even when ANTHROPIC_IDENTITY_TOKEN_FILE points to a token file, Claude Code does not set up sign-in from it.

Previously neither had this check.

Why

In the sessions this affects, PowerShell and identity-token sign-in are not available, so a token file set with ANTHROPIC_IDENTITY_TOKEN_FILE has no effect there.
