Unclear It is not clear what counts as being held, so it is unclear when Ctrl/Cmd+C now clears the selection instead of copying it.

What

When you select text in Claude Code and press Ctrl+C (Cmd+C on a Mac), Claude Code either copies the selection or clears it. It now makes that choice based on whether something else is currently held, rather than on a simple on/off value as before. When it does copy, it also hands the copied text on to another part of Claude Code.

Why

This can change what Ctrl/Cmd+C does with a selection, particularly in the full-screen view of Claude Code.
