Auto mode is a permission mode in which Claude Code decides more actions without asking you each time. The dialog asking "Make auto mode your default permission mode?" has had its layout reworked, with its footer now built as a separate part. A hint line telling you to press a key again to exit is switched off in this build and does not show.
