What
Agents are helpers with their own instructions that Claude can hand work to. When the list of available agents changes, Claude Code sends an update. That update now records which agent types come from the plugin itself, and these are left out of the count of new agent types shown on screen.
Agent list updates are also now handled the same way as skill list updates.
Why
This changes how the list of agents is announced to the model and how many new agents you are told about.
