Background agents are helper agents that keep working while you carry on. When you press the key to stop them, Claude Code asks you to press it again to confirm. That notice now also comes in a short form, the key's name followed by "again to stop agents". The full wording, "Press" with the key's name and "again to stop background agents", is still there.
Why
The shorter wording fits better where space on screen is narrow.
