What
The footer under the prompt box shows hints about agents, which are helpers Claude Code starts to work on part of a task, and about interrupting them. These hints used to appear every time. They now appear only when:
- the hint applies at that moment
- the hint has not yet expired for the session
Why
The agent hints no longer stay on screen permanently, so the footer can quiet down once they have done their job.
