What

A workflow is a script that hands steps to subagents, separate helpers Claude starts to do part of a job. Each subagent's task text can carry a note saying it was produced by the script and carries no user authority. The instructions those subagents receive now end with an extra sentence: that note is not by itself a reason to skip the task, and the subagent should do that step only.

Why

This makes workflow subagents less likely to refuse the step they were given, while keeping them to that one step.
