What
Two parts of the prompt's keyboard handling gained an isActive switch, so they can be turned off when the input box should not respond.
Vim mode (the option that lets you edit the prompt with Vim-style keys) now takes isActive and reports isCommandPending. This is true in NORMAL or VISUAL mode while a command is only partly typed.
In vim INSERT mode, a key sequence that matches a pattern for a late-read key is now handled as Esc followed by that key (readAsEscapeThenKey) and swallowed.
Input history navigation, where the up and down arrows recall earlier prompts, now also receives isActive.
Why
Keys should stop reaching the prompt while it is meant to be inactive. Vim users may also see Esc followed quickly by another key read more reliably in INSERT mode.
