What
OSC 52 is a way for a program to place text on your clipboard by sending a special code through the terminal. After a copy that used OSC 52, Claude Code now checks a condition. When it holds, the confirmation reports the copy as done natively, or as not done, depending on a second check. Before, the reported method was shown as is.
Why
The copy confirmation should now better match what actually happened, for example in setups where the terminal code does not reach your clipboard.
