What

When a background task (work Claude Code runs while you do something else) finishes, Claude Code queues a notification message for Claude. Each queued message records where it came from. For these task notifications, Claude Code now removes the part of that record that names what produced the notification before it builds the messages it sends.

Why

This changes what Claude receives about background task notifications.
