What
When Claude Code creates the file that stores a session's transcript, it rewrites the session's details (its metadata) into it and then saves any entries that were waiting. Before, an error while rewriting the metadata skipped saving those waiting entries. The error is now handled on its own, and the waiting entries are still saved.
Why
A problem writing session details is less likely to lose parts of your conversation history.
