Unclear What this extra step changes in practice is not clear.

What

When Claude Code starts its background service, a helper process that keeps running on its own, it now works out how to launch that process through an extra step. This applies both to a normal start and to the quick test it runs beforehand.

Why

This may store the launch command so it is only worked out once, or catch errors while working it out.
