What
When Claude Code finds problems in your settings files, it shows a warning dialog. The note at the bottom of that dialog used to have two versions: one for when whole files were skipped, and one for when some values were replaced or skipped. It now picks between three cases:
some files are skipped
only hooks are not loaded
some values are skipped
In the hooks-only case it reads: "The hooks listed above are not loaded; no file is skipped on their account."
Why
When the only problem is a hook, you can tell that the rest of your settings in that file still apply.
