What
When Claude Code starts, it records how long the different steps take and sends those timings as usage data. That report now carries one more value, a measurement about how long resuming an earlier session waits on hooks. Hooks are commands you set up to run automatically at certain moments, such as when a session starts.
Why
The value is only recorded and reported with the other startup timings. It may relate to a possible future change in how resuming waits for those hooks.
