What

Plugins (add-ons, including hooks modules) can call a list of capabilities. A new one, ui.view, sits next to ui.scroll and ui.focus:

  • ui.view switches the main view to an agent's transcript.
  • It works only for events a person started, and returns reasons when it refuses.
  • Separately, a plugin interface call is now refused if the provider or caller was judged under a policy that has since changed, and stays off until judged under the one in force.
  • env.set now uses its own handler.

Why

Plugin authors can move what you see to a particular agent's transcript. Plugins approved under an older policy stop working until they are checked against the current one.
