What

disableConnectorSignInInApp is a new setting that administrators can deploy to Claude Desktop through device management. When it is true, signing in to claude.ai connectors happens in the system browser instead of inside the app.

It is false by default. If the value cannot be read, Claude Desktop treats it as true and keeps sign-in in the browser.

Why

Organizations that deploy Claude Desktop get a control over where connector sign-in takes place.
