What
Claude Code can hand a session off from one place to another through a remote connection. Before that handoff, it now sends the current git state, such as which branch you are on, to the other side. If this takes too long, or the connection has already closed, Claude Code writes a note to its log.

Branch information stays up to date after the session is handed off.
