What
The Edit tool changes files and the NotebookEdit tool changes Jupyter notebooks. Both now run an extra check on the path they are given before checking permissions and reading the file. If the path fails, the edit stops there with that check's message.
The Edit tool also now tidies the path the same way the Read tool does.
Why
Some paths that edits used to accept may now be refused. Because Edit and Read now handle paths the same way, a path that Read accepts is treated alike by Edit.
