What
Claude Code's daemon is a background service that keeps running when you are not at the terminal. Its dashboard used to always open on its main hub screen. It now picks its first screen when it starts.
If unattended serving is switched on and your choice for it is set to "ask", the dashboard opens straight on the consent dialog, where you agree or decline. After you save your consent, it switches to the Remote Control tab. If saving fails, that failure is recorded.
Why
You are asked for consent as soon as the dashboard opens, instead of having to find the prompt yourself.
