What
Claude Code can reply on its own to comments left on artifacts. A classifier, a check that decides whether to reply, guides this. When that checker is unavailable, Claude Code now records a diagnostic event saying the reply was handed off, along with a reason, for example:
- another notified page already handles the comment threads
- the comment was already notified
- an edit has already gone in
- automatic replies were stopped
- the feature is switched off
The reasons a reply is held back are now named values instead of a simple yes or no.
