DisclaimerUnofficial, and not affiliated with Anthropic. Nearly all of this is read straight out of what ships: npm bundles, captured prompts, published docs. Anthropic's own notes go in verbatim, marked as theirs. The rest is my reading, and every entry carries the strings behind it. If one looks wrong, vote it down and say why.

Unreachable Permission Rules Detection

What

The /doctor command now detects and displays permission rules that will never be applied due to being shadowed by broader rules.

Usage
/doctor

Look for the "Unreachable Rules" section showing:

  • Which rules are shadowed
  • Which broader rule is shadowing them
  • How to fix the configuration
Details
  • Detects allow rules shadowed by ask rules
  • Detects allow rules shadowed by deny rules
  • Shows the source of conflicting rules (project settings, policy, etc.)
  • Provides specific fix suggestions
Evidence

xKA() at line 302515 (checks for shadowedBy and builds unreachable rules list), jg2() at line 416765 (renders "Unreachable Rules" UI component with shadowType of "ask" or "deny")

Strings lifted out of the shipped bundle, so the claim above can be checked against them.
