What

When Claude Code builds the list of files for the worktree include feature, it asks git for a file listing. If that git command fails, Claude Code no longer stops at that point. It treats the output as empty and returns no files only when the resulting list is empty.

Why

This is a small robustness change. In practice the result is almost always the same: a failed listing still leads to no files being included.
