What
The description of CronCreate, the tool Claude uses to schedule tasks for later, was rewritten in this release in the compaction prompt. Compaction is when Claude Code summarizes a long conversation to free up room. The description still states that scheduled jobs only run while Claude Code is idle, not in the middle of answering.
Why
Claude reads this description to decide how to use the scheduling tool, so the new wording can affect how it handles scheduled tasks after a conversation has been compacted.
