What
When a file uploaded in stages replaces a file that already existed, the result now tells the part of Claude Code that asked for the upload that a file was replaced. Claude Code's usage reporting also records the replaced file's size, how long ago it was last changed, and whether it was read-only.
Why
Overwriting an existing file during an upload is now visible instead of silent.
