What
The sandbox is a protective boundary that limits what commands run by Claude Code can touch. On Linux, a setting controls how far into folders it looks for dangerous files. Its description now reads "How deep below the working directory dangerous names are looked for on Linux (default: 3)". It used to say only "Maximum directory depth to search for dangerous files on Linux (default: 3)."
Why
The description makes clear that depth is counted from the folder you are working in.
