What

Claude Code has a notice for when files sent by reference (as a pointer rather than the file itself) do not arrive. Before, only a worker connected to Claude Code Remote sent it. Now:

  • A session with Remote Control on also sends it to its Remote Control clients itself.
  • It also covers messages that arrive over Remote Control.
  • A message ID that is not in standard UUID form is treated as missing.
Why

People using Remote Control now learn when attachments were lost instead of not knowing.
