What
Claude Code watches the files of your plugins (add-on packages that extend it) and reloads a plugin when its files change. It used to decide this only by comparing the time a file last changed.
It now keeps a stamp for each file and a stamp for the copy it has loaded, and checks whether a change was already covered by the loaded copy. It also keeps track of which plugins are behind their files and which reloads it has already tried.
Why
This should cut down on plugins reloading for no reason, and on changes that never got picked up.
