What
Plugins are add-on packages that extend Claude Code. Several things changed in what they can see and get back:
Reading policy settings now includes managedMcpServers, the MCP servers an organization provides to every user. If that list cannot be read, a managedMcpServersUnreadable entry appears instead.
When a plugin's call to an interface takes too long, it now gets a dedicated timeout error.
Claude Code now tracks where presses and gestures came from.
Why
This matters mostly to plugin authors, who get more of the policy settings and clearer errors to work with.
