What
In print mode (running Claude Code non-interactively with -p), a permission request can sit waiting for an answer. While it waits, notifications about MCP tasks (work done by add-on servers that give Claude extra tools) are now held back. They are released once the permission request ends.
Claude Code also now keeps track of what happens when a stopped turn is run again.
Why
A notification arriving during a permission prompt no longer starts a new turn in the middle of it.
