Unclear What the shared input source is and when it is used are not stated.

What

Hooks are commands you set up to run automatically at certain points while Claude Code works. Before, the input sent to each command hook was always built separately for that hook. Command hooks can now receive that input from a shared source instead. How Claude Code works out the project's root folder for hooks has also been reworked.

Why

This could change what input your command hooks receive.
