What

Claude Code has new messages telling you to commit your files before you retry a cloud session, which is a session that runs on a remote machine instead of your own. To commit means to save your changes into git, the version control tool. One message reads "Commit the files that you want the cloud session to see".

Why

The messages give a clearer explanation when a cloud session is started from work that has not been committed.
