What
You can move a session (one ongoing conversation with Claude Code) to the cloud. If that request is refused because of its permission mode (the setting that decides how freely Claude Code may act without asking), Claude Code tries again with no mode set. That retry already existed. Claude Code now records a usage event saying how the retry ended:
succeeded
may have gone through
failed
Before, the retry finished without recording anything.
Why
This is a small diagnostic change. It makes it easier to see how reliable handing a session over to the cloud is. Nothing changes in how the move behaves for you.
