What

When Claude Code connects to remote sessions, it regularly checks for new work to pick up. Before, it checked at a fixed rate and re-queued work straight away after a reconnect. It can now:

  • watch a live stream of session updates, with its own check intervals while that stream is connected
  • skip work that is delivered a second time
  • limit how quickly it re-queues work when reconnecting after a sign-in token expires
Why

This cuts down how often Claude Code has to ask for work when it is linked to remote sessions.
