What
On Windows, tools such as Git Bash and Cygwin write drive paths as /c/... or /cygdrive/c/... instead of C:\.... Claude Code now tries a path as given and, if that does not match, converts it to the C:\... form and tries again.
Why
Path rules written in one form may now match paths written in the other, which can fix rules that previously did not apply when using Git Bash on Windows.
