What

Claude Code counts the lines added and removed in each changed file. When it combines these counts, files that git already tracks now have their old-path and new-path details removed. Git is the version control tool that records changes to your files. Before, the counts were copied over unchanged.

Why

This is a small change to the information kept about each changed file.
